As with any creative profession, boudoir photography is a whole lot of fun in experimentation! We love to push boundaries and try something new, exploring new elements, ideas, and settings. But, one thing is for certain, we never turn away from good boudoir classics! Lace, silks, stockings, heels, and satin sheets are some of our all time favorite boudoir details that never get old! And who can blame us, they look rediculously charming on any woman and accentuate boudoir’s flirty, feminine side. A correctly placed feather can highlight the gaze and work as a beautiful cover up. Satin sheets bring out the glow in the complexion, while lace and heels accentuate the overall curves. There is a reason why each of these classic elements has passed the test of time – they work beautifully!

Last year, we had a great pleasure of capturing such classic boudoir elements for our marvellouse muse Miss N! Gorgeous lady inside and out, she went for two different genres: boudoir and portrait (which you may see in our previous blog here – portraits). Needless to say, we had a whole lot of fun putting together and capturing some timeless boudoir looks! Miss N opted in for two lovely black lace sets, paired with stockings and patent pumps. We created a series of relaxed, elegant set ups to match her elegant looks, featuring satin sheets, our vintage mirror, coffee table, and a feather!
