PROCESS
We believe bridal boudoir photography is an expression of one’s inert sense of style and personality, which is why the Kissed By Light team ensures every session is customized, with every aspect tailored to your preference. Come meet our team and discover the Kissed By Light artisanal products. Expect to meet with one of our studio managers or the creative director, who will help you determine your photo session goals and the best package to choose.
The introductory session is complimentary and can be optional. Depending on your preferences, we are happy
to assist you with preparation over email.
It’s time to set the date! Our photo sessions are usually booked at least a month in advance – depending on your goals and/or deadline, our team will provide some dates to choose from.
To secure the date of your choice, a deposit link and contract are sent electronically for convenient and fast booking.
Over the years, our team has put together a detailed preparation process that is designed to determine all of the most important aspects of an upcoming photo session: style, setups, makeup, hair styling, wardrobe looks, and more. You will discuss your goals with one of our studio managers and begin the exciting process of putting together an inspirational board for your session.
At this stage, we will also note any of your special requests and prepare required services ahead: from makeup and hair to such optional services as flower arrangement, nail spa treatment, and more.
The day is here!
You will have a personalized makeup & styling experience while you enjoy a glass of bubbly. Our very own stylist team members are skilled at creating makeup looks that work perfectly for our photo shoots. They will ensure to maintain your style and inspirations accordingly.
Then you will have a meeting with our photographer/creative director who will take a look over your wardrobe selection and artistic direction of your shoot.
Your session will be guided every step along the way, as your photographer will ensure to find your best angles and create some of the studio’s signature set-ups according to your goals. And our photography assistant will be there to take care of any additional details such as flyaway hairs and outfit checks. You will be shown and directed to create the best poses for your goals and set-ups, each carefully thought through to reveal your best angles.
In 10-15 business days after your photo session, the wait is over and your photos are now ready! Our team will schedule a viewing session in our studio where you will get to see the very best of your sessions’ photos already retouched and color-corrected, displayed on a large viewing screen for your selection. A gift USB with your selection will be ready to take home with you at the end.
During the session, you will also get to see our latest printed products and their customization options: fine albums, silk folios, ice cubes, and more. If you decide on a product, we will have it designed and ready to print shortly after the viewing session.
If you opt-in to preserve your photos and have Printed Products made, you will get to approve any customization options during your Viewing Session and place your bespoke order with our printed product specialist.
It will be crafted at our printing partner’s private printing studio (with an all-female, Toronto-based team) and carefully packaged in our studio using the best preservation techniques.
Upon completion, your product(s) will be ready for pickup at the studio or may be delivered by a courier or postal service.
AVAILABILITY & PRICING
Our Photo Session reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $450 that goes towards the final cost.
