BEST friends

A friend is like a flower,
a rose to be exact,
Or maybe like a brand new gate
that never comes unlatched.
A friend is like an owl,
both beautiful and wise.
Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost,
whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like a heart that goes
strong until the end.
Where would we be in this world
if we didn’t have a friend. – By Adrianne S

What a weekend! My first photo show went so great!
Recently I decided to explore the presence of the other gender in a human being and undertook a project called “The other side”. I tried to discover and bring out the opposite gender alter-ego of people I worked with.
My friends Ron Loranger and Anrey Bukin did an outstanding job and helped me with the organization of the exhibition at Club Labo. Thank you guys, without you it wouldn’t be possible to make my dream come true!
I would like to thank my beautiful and courageous models Anastasia Levintsa, Nastya Povolotska, Andery Bukin, Ron Loranger, Nally Tsyrlin, Maria Grossbaum, Vika Gofman, Igor Kоlmanson, Katerina  Porfiereva, Natasha Kudashkina, Vasilli Ryjikh, Sasha Yusupov, Diana Tula, Pavel Grigorev.

Also I would like to thank DJs Klepa, Mesopotamus, Mr Kaizen, The Noodleman for playing amazing music and creating a fabulous atmosphere!

And of course I want to thank my dear director Sasha Yusupov :)

I’m very happy & love you all!!

Exhibition/Performance/Party

Lora Vertue is a portrait, fashion and still life photographer, introduces her new project that may be viewed as an anthropological study. It’s her artistic interpretation of the unity and struggle of the male and female that is present in each Homo Sapiens.

Nowadays, no one dares to deny that we all have a bit of another gender within us; more in some and less in others, but nevertheless… Science explains this phenomenon with the presence of female chromosomes in the male genome and vice versa.

In this project, Lora doesn’t work with professional models, but ordinary people. She tries to discover and bring out their opposite gender alter-ego.

The exhibition will take place on June 12th and 13th, from 12 p.m. till 5 p.m.
